A team of researchers from the Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation (IHME) in the US presented their findings, which show that each successive year of education at school or university contributes to a 2% reduction in the risk of dying from any cause.
Scientists have studied the data of more than 600 scientific publications, which consider the relationship between the level of education and the length of human life. It is noted that experts have studied articles from 59 countries, including both industrially developed, such as the U.S. or EU countries, and developing countries, in particular, China, Brazil and many others.
